ΦAYCTEINA CEBACTH Faustina Junior standing front, head to left, sacrificing with her right hand over altar and holding open incense-box in her left hand; to lower right, EQP. RPC IV online -. Unpublished and unique, an enigmatic issue. Fine.


Exactly where this enigmatic coin was issued is unclear, as it carries no ethnic. It was struck sometime after Marcus Aurelius' marriage with Faustina Junior in 145 and before he succeeded to the throne in 161. The EQP on the reverse is likely a date of 190, but to which local era is currently unclear.
